Archimedes Principle – II

This exploriment introduces the concept of buoyancy and buoyant force. Whenever any solid is immersed in a fluid, the fluid exerts a buoyant force in the opposite direction causing an apparent reduction in the weight of the immersed solid. This is one of the important concepts that leads to the Archimedes Principle.
